St. Arnaud

Edmonton singer-songwriter Ian St.Arnaud, originally part of ill-fated Americana/Folk trio North of Here, launched a solo career after the tragic loss of close friend and bandmate Luke Jansen in 2017. Their debut album, The Cost of Living (2019), is a DIY tour-de-force featuring fun-loving melodies overlaying themes of grief. By his sophomore LP, Love and the Front Lawn (2022), Ian’s music evolved into a raucous 5-piece indie outfit highlighting heart-on-the-sleeve, sardonic lyricism. Celebrated across Canada, Europe, and the UK, highlights include millions of views for the vibrant “A Sweet Song” video and performances at The Great Escape, Reeperbahn, and more.
